It is a broad-leaved species produced in the Yunnan region of China. It takes its name from the Pu’erh region where it was first harvested. What makes this tea unique is that it has an unusual production process. Tea leaves withered by steam are formed into molds and fermented for 3 years. This tea, which increases in taste and value as it ages, is an investment tool in China.

Ideal preparation conditions: It is recommended to infuse 1 teaspoon (2 gr.) in approximately 250 ml of water at 90°C – 95°C for 3-5 minutes.
