Green tea powder can only be called matcha if it has two characteristics:
- The tea leaves are protected from the sun.
- The tea leaves are not shaped for the drying process.
Uji is the highest quality organic matcha grown in Japan. Full-bodied, smooth and creamy matcha, rich in umami, and has a beautiful green color. We recommend using it for tea ceremony or a special cup of tea. Put 1 teaspoon of matcha in a tea bowl (80 ml). Add 80°C water and stir with a matcha brush for 15 seconds. Consume without waiting.
